Your Idolators adore the teen gumshoe show Veronica Mars, and when its season premiere was posted online earlier this week, we cleared the Killers MP3s off of our desktops and watched. No spoilers, but we do have one question: Why on earth did the powers that be decide to change up the theme song? The opening credits are still scored by the Dandy Warhols’ “We Used To Be Friends,” but the new version is a hush-hush, sassy-free take. Compare it to the original track and let us know if we’re overreacting, or if this change-up could be a harbinger of Very Special Episodes to come.
