Fabolous Will Not Be Able To Kick It Tonight

Oct 17th, 2006 // 6 Comments

Rapper Fabolous had a worse Monday night than you did: After being shot in the thigh while standing in a Manhattan parking garage, he was then arrested when police discovered two unlicensed and loaded guns in his crew’s get-away car. He’s in stable condition, though the biggest injury may be to his pride: Because he had just left Justin’s Bar And Restaurant, the rap-savvy New York Post identified him only as an anonymous “‘Diddy’ Patron.” Oof.

this guy is pretty disposable artistically anyway, isn’t he? like, if he never made another record again, would anyone notice?

He looks so prim and proper in that press photo. I bet that he cleans up his hairline with a wee little razor every morning. Waxes his eyebrows too.

Actually, I bet that he gets pedicures every week with the whole cast of “Growing Up Gotti.”

I’ll take a stand for Fab, Lucas. He’s not the most nimble rapper out there, but he’s good for a killer single every few years. I might not have noticed if he never came back, but whenever he does, it’s like some obscure holiday.

Fabolous is the Columbus Day of hip-hop.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t this happen during an episode of “The Sopranos” last season!? You know the episode where Tony’s brother in law (Janice’s husband) takes $3,000 to shoot an aspiring rapper, with his full consent of course, in order to up his street cred… and, ultimately, his own status in the rap game?

My god, I just love that quote!
