Videodrone: Finally, A New Clipse Clip

If you haven’t been following the drama regarding the Clipse’s new abum, Hell Hath No Fury, here’s a recap: It’s the follow-up to 2002’s Lord Willin’; it’s been tied up in release-date disputes with its label, Jive, for the past 47 years or so; it’s finally supposed to come out Dec. 12 Nov. 28 (and we think they mean 2006).

Fury is also one of the most heavily protected advance-releases we’re ever seen: A few tracks have leaked out here and there, but for the most part, the group’s management has kept it locked down, and apparently you need a court order and $10,000 in small bills just to listen to the thing. If anyone has any leads as to where to find it–or if any journalists want to share their tales of trying to write about this record without signing their life away–please drop a line to tips@idolator.com.

Anyway, we love the song, and eagerly await Weird Al’s 2008 follow-up “Wampa Wampa (What He Do).”
