Please (Re-)Release Me: Tampa Threesome’s Bleak Visions
The total recorded output of the Florida trio Alva clocks in at under an hour, and their debut album, the John Zorn-shepherded Fair-Haired Guillotine, is only available via Japanese import at present. Which is a shame; their baroque horn/violin/piano arrangements and childrens’-choir vocals are, after all these years, still hair-raising.
