Fat Al Vs. “Fat Albert”: Let The Pudding-Slinging Begin

Teenaged Ohio rapper Fat Al, who counts LeBron James among his fans, has incurred the wrath of Bill Cosby because of his nom de guerre. The 19-year-old, whose real name is Aljaray Gaston, has been renamed “Al Fatz” by his record label, a move that he isn’t too happy about:

“I guess he doesn’t like rappers,” Al Fatz says of Cosby’s claim. “I’m just trying to come up and Bill Cosby was hating. I know one thing, I won’t be buying any more Jell-O pudding.”

We’re holding out for this feud to inspire some really great mixtapes, complete with PicturePages references and shots of Al in really ugly sweaters. Come on, Al! We’re on your side, if only because we had to sit through one of Cosby’s treacle-filled graduation speeches in a previous life.
