Videodrone: Kelis’ “Star” Turn
The latest clip from Kelis’ overlooked Kelis Was Here features a wardrobe straight from the Andy Warhol Museum, a disembodied Cee-Lo, and not much else. “Lil’ Star” may be one of the more crossover-ready tracks on the album, but are we the only ones who think it sounds more than a little like “Suicide Is Painless”?
