Stuck On Repeat: Scar Is Out To Get You By The Ears
The Big Boi-curated megamix Got Purp? Volume 2 is full of cameos from the likes of Bubba Sparxxx and Snoop Dogg, but 15 months after its release we’re still blasting the euphoric “U Got Me” by the Atlanta soul singer Scar. Scar–who also dropped a few verses on the Idlewild soundtrack–allegedly has an album called Scar’d For Life in the pipeline, and the more we listen to this song’s infatuated vocals and string drops, the more we’re looking forward to it:
