loder.jpg- MTV begins layoffs today; alas, the twisted tykes featured on My Super Sweet 16 are not technically Viacom employees, and thus ineligible. [Gawker]
- Bloc Party is editing NME.com this week. Expect lots of stories about how London nightlife is dark and vampiric, all of which will start to read the same after about twenty minutes. [NME.com]
- Thanks to attendees like Al Gore, Keisha Knight-Pulliam, and Sticky Fingaz, this year’s Grammy after-parties were officially the batshittiest ever. [MTV]

“Looking around at Latifah’s party you could see former “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” star Corin Nemec by the DJ booth”

    Parker Lewis Can’t Lose…now there’s a show I haven’t thought about in a while.

You guys just being snarky, or serious about Kurt? I’ve always felt affectionately toward the guy. Met him downstairs at a CBGB show once, and I admired his total lack of pretense/affect.

I love Kurt Loder. I wish MTV would launch a specialty network consisting solely of all the times he’s interviewed Madonna.

  4. Brian Raftery

It was non-snarky, I assure you. I wish he had more on-air time.

Does anyone know if the Might magazine profile of Loder from the mid-’90s or so is online? That was good stuff.
