Recently, the Idolator flophouse was gifted with a menacing-looking new CD shredder–nicknamed “Dicey”–and it’s been instrumental in clearing our workspace of unwanted promotional discs. We’ve decided to start cataloging some of Dicey’s conquests, and since capturing executions via cameraphone seem to be all the rage these days, we’re happy to share the NSFW proceedings:

THE VICTIM: A watermarked advance copy of Satellite Party’s Ultra Payloaded PUNISHABLE OFFENSES: To quote Wiki: “Ultra Payloaded is due to be released on 15th May 2007, with contributions from artists such as John Frusciante and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, former Chili Pepper and Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons, electronic dance producers Hybrid and Joy Division/New Order bassist Peter Hook…the album will include a ‘lost song’ titled ‘Woman in the Window’ with vocals by the late Doors frontman Jim Morrison.” DID IT DIE WITH HONOR?: Yes, but it made a sound just as unholy as you’d expect.
