The other day, we found out that Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend” went way beyond the “clean” and “dirty” versions that usually get sent out; there are actually seven versions of the track, and we’ve unearthed the take that dubs itself as the Mandarin version. Unfortunately, as we learned from giving the song a spin, it’s only the chorus that’s been translated, so don’t expect Avril to teach the world how to say “she’s like, so whatever” in more than one language:
