By popular request–okay, one request, but still–we hereby present a few tracks from London’s now-defunct Kitchens of Distinction, whose soaring-but-spooky guitar pop put them in the same league as House Of Love and the Chameleons. Three tracks from the group’s 1991 classic Strange Free World are below; if you can’t hear some Interpol in “Polaroids,” then you’re probably a member of Interpol:
