Listening Station: It Ain’t Over ‘Til Mutya Buena Says It Is
Not to turn this into an ad hoc “Ex-Sugababes Week,” but we just got our hands on the new-ish single by former ‘Babe Mutya Buena, who was in the British girl group from its formation until 2005. “Real Girl” comes out swinging, twisting the strings from Lenny Kravitz’s “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” into a backing track for Buena letting the world know that she’s pretty happy to be where she is right now (and she should be; after all, she got out just in time to avoid involvement in that “Walk This Way” fiasco):
