Good Thing Romeo Dropped The “Lil” From His Name

romeo.jpgRomeo–the rapper formerly known as Lil’ Romeo, and also known as Percy Miller, son of Master P–will attend USC next year, where he’ll be on the school’s basketball team. From FOX Sports:

“It’s great for him,” said Master P, who coaches his son and Derozan on the P. Miller Ballers in the spring and summer. “USC is a great school and I felt like he made a great decision.”

The younger Miller will focus solely on school and basketball for the next few years, according to Master P.

“He can be polishing up his film career at USC,” Master P said. “When he’s finished after four years at 21 or 22 years old, he’ll hopefully be able to take either basketball to the next level or Hollywood to the next level.”

According to AllHipHop, Romeo has been given a full athletic scholarship to attend USC–and AlliHipHop claims that he’s the first hip-hop artist to achieve this feat. Our question: What effect will this news have on Romeo’s long-simmering feud with Bow Wow? We’re hoping that Bow Wow enrolls at UCLA, the two engage in a one-on-one battle in a half-lit Los Angeles gym, and the whole thing wraps up with the two of them making their long, dis-filled saga into the first of many “buddy flicks” starring the pair.

In all seriousness, Romeo should work on his “handle” and his Free Throws, if he wants to get drafted. And he does want to get drafted.

His coach will tell him the same. Guards who shoot 80+ % from the line will get a look, or two. Good luck Miller.
