The Vault: ESG Busts Out The Scripto

We’ve long admired the South Bronx art-funk family ESG, who are still going strong nearly 30 years after the three sisters who form the band’s core were first given instruments by their mother. “Erase You,” which they released in 1991, came up during our first shuffle of the morning, and even though we’re not looking to rub anyone out from our lives at the moment (at least, not yet), we’re really into how this spare, fiery track is all kinds of fierce:
