radioheadddd.jpg- If you go here and click on the “Hodiau Direkton” banner, you can hear what is supposedly a snippet of a new Radiohead song. If the link doesn’t work, simply put two owls on speakerphone to get the same effect. [NME]
- Antonio Banderas and Eddie Murphy will perform a version of “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Again)” for the Shrek 3 soundtrack, an act that will send Sly Stone into seclusion for another twenty years or so. [Billboard]
- Def Leppard will tour with Styx and Foreigner this summer. In unrelated news, Idolator.com will be shut down from May through August 2007. [Ultimate-Guitar]

Thom is one crazy guy. Is that really a clip from 15 step though? it sounds nothing like it to me…

Also, that clip is more intelligible when played backwards I believe…but it’s still pretty abstract.

PS: NickEddy, You got the order wrong. Muse came second and were inspired by Radiohead’s sound, and have since deviated somewhat. You can like them all you want, but that won’t make them ‘better’.

I know, I’m just being a dick. On second thought, something like “the Radiohead that plays songs, in the style of Saga.” Or something.

I’m a bitter old man, see.

There was a running gag on the cartoon Metalocalypse about the fictional band Dethkolk’s making an album exclusively for fish. I thought to myself, Funny, Radiohead’s been doing that for years…

you have no idea how long I thought that lyric was “Thank you, fellating me…”

Def Leppard. Styx. Foreigner. What would be more entertaining…the bands, or the audience? ;)
