We’ve been pretty upfront all along about who we’re voting for in next year’s presidential election: this guy. But because of equal-time requirements, we’re supposed to let you know that Hillary Clinton is asking America–or at least that portion of America that really enjoys voting for things online–to pick her campaign song. The nominees are one part Adlai Stevenson, one part Ally McBeal:

“City of Blinding Lights” – U2 “Suddenly I See” – KT Tunstall “I’m a Believer” – Smash Mouth “Get Ready” – The Temptations “Ready to Run” – Dixie Chicks “Rock This Country!” – Shania Twain “Beautiful Day” – U2 “Right Here, Right Now” – Jesus Jones “I’ll Take You There” – The Staple Singers

You can also submit your own nominees, but since this is one of the few candidate-sponsored polls that doesn’t require you to register with the site, we’re guessing that the write-in option has likely yielded plenty of Internet-crank answers. We also suspect that a certain jesus_jones231@earthlink.net will be busted for flooding the “Right Here, Right Now” option sometime next week.
