“People don’t discriminate out here,” he said. “No one thinks, ‘Oh, I can’t work with him because he’s pop or he’s alternative.’ People are really up for these eclectic combinations out here.”

I realize it’s not Nuno’s field and all, but dude should work in PR.

Anyway, John Reis is the true Portuguese-American rock icon. Dammit. I should have brought “Pigeon Eater” to work today.

I am so totally psyched for “Oh Sherry, Oh Seven!”

GREAT catch on the Nuno / Steve Perry bit, guys. Hopefully it will be better than that Satellite Party crap — and maybe this time Nuno will actually, you know, play some guitar.

Maybe Steven Tyler will be joining Van Halen.

On the subject of Extreme, anyone else see that Gary Cherone is now singing for a Who cover band called the Slip (or something like that)? I guess they are doing a performance of Tommy next month in Boston. Should be entertaining.

Awesome! I was hoping for a third season of “Rock Star”.

@Hamster-Style: You mean the Slip from Guitar Hero? I thought they were a 3 piece.

  8. Hamster-Style

Nope, i was wrong. The band is Slipkid.

  9. Hamm Beerger

So is Nuno also secretly working with Joe Perry? Might explain why Steven wants out.
