axl.JPGAxl Rose sings “Nightrain” through the years, and here are the results: in 1992, he’s off-key; in 2001, he’s seemingly helium-enhanced; and last year, he’s actually not bad, although we have to wonder just what role was played by on-the-fly pitch-correction technology. [MetalSucks]

    I love that the parts that seem to be ad-libs haven’t changed one bit in 15 years. The 2006 version is actually really good, although only Slash can truly rock the 90-second guitar lead.
