Recently, the Seattle rock club Neumo’s was sold, and now there’s a casualty: Frites, the wonderful little Belgian-fries joint tucked into the middle of the venue. Frites might not have held shows (the place was so small it couldn’t have held a puppet show comfortably, never mind musicians), but it was as welcome an aspect of the neighborhood’s musical community as any, and it will be greatly missed.
