epiphany.jpgThe latest in the ever-growing world of “discography blogs,” which provide a post-by-post dissection of an artist’s career: Spring, Sprang, Sprung, which is entirely devoted to the work of T-Pain. Has no one really given Akon’s body of work this treatment yet? [Spring, Sprang, Sprung, via Fluxblog]

Has no one really given Akon’s body of work this treatment yet?

    Okay, here goes:

Every song by Akon ever: This song fucking sucks and I cannot believe there are enough 11 year old girls in America to continually sustain his “career”.

He also likes to dry-hump 12 year olds on stage with shirt off.

I’ve been a dick to Sean Fennessey directly and indirectly in the past, but I have to say, I do admire his enthusiasm for T-Pain. Epiphany is a seriously underrated album. Still, I wonder if he’s really gonna go through with it or is just goofing on the whole discography blog idea (Perpetua sure seems to be pushing the whole “discography blogs were my wonderful invention” line just in case he can’t get away with the “mp3 blogs were my wonderful invention” line).

In the vein of “discography blogs”, someone’s started one up for Wilco:

Personally, I look forward to the “catablog” for the Ramones. Also, I fully endorse the use of the word “catablog” to describe these things.
