Beyonce A Survivor, Even When Her Stage’s Setup Turns Against Her
Never let it be said that Beyonce isn’t a total pro: Even after taking a header down an on-stage flight of stairs last night in Orlando–while wearing a red, floor-length number that, come to think of it, was probably what led to her downfall–she manages to pick herself up, dust herself off, and perform “Ring The Alarm,” complete with leading a platoon of Beyonce-bots in a stompy dance routine. I’m mainly impressed because every time I fall down a flight of stairs, I can barely walk, let alone perform a song where there are sirens going off at two-second intervals in the background.
