Once Again, “Where’s Izzy” Will Be A Familiar Refrain For Guns N’ Roses Fans
Izzy Stradlin’s official site has the latest news on that 20th-anniversary-of-Appetite For Destruction party that Steven Adler is throwing this Saturday, and that Adler has been billing as a “reunion” because the other original members of Guns N’ Roses may show up: “…Steven is playing Key Club this Saturday…. I may drop by and say hello. Cheers, Izzy.” Well, that’s a commitment of sorts (on the Guns N’ Roses scale, anyway)–if Gilby Clarke shows up instead, it probably isn’t completely unfair to call total and utter BS. In other news, this week’s Rolling Stone cover honors Appetite, and uses an image that I’m pretty sure hung in my locker for at least a year or two during middle school.
