choose-or-lose.jpgBecause we saw how well its apathetic-ass audience took to political discussion during the last election, MTV and MySpace will preempt the station’s round-the-clock Hills marathons to foster “unfiltered direct conversations” between presidential candidates and college students using instant message programs for a series of TV debates hosted by CNN’s Anderson Cooper. Somehow, I would have expected them to have a former VJ with political expirience get in on it . . . like, oh I don’t know, John Stewart?

Andeson’s still my favorite closeted newscaster.
