Pissed Jeans Thoughtfully Reflect On The Little Things
I wasn’t around on Friday to post this when this guy first brought it to my attention, but thankfully my trusty RSS reader never forgets. This video (!) for Pissed Jeans’ single (!) “I’ve Still Got You (Ice Cream)” features just about everything I want in a tiny digital square playing music with pictures at the moment (i.e. it starts off looking like Will Shatter somehow got hired as program director for Noggin but then spent most of the year’s budget on Mad Dog “Bling Bling” blue raspberry-flavored fortified wine*, so he made due with some dry ice and shaking the camera around). Plus the song alone has pulled me back from the brink multiple times this year already. Oh, and minus 10,000 points to Stereogum for even off-handedly comparing America’s greatest (current) rock band to friggin’ Mute Math.
*Do not actually drink this.
