From the “Gimme More (Diminished Expectations)” file: Britney Spears’ Blackout is on target to debut at No. 1 next week, with around 350,000 units sold. That’s off In The Zone‘s first-week total of 609,000 in 2003 and less than half of Britney‘s opening tally of 746,000 in 2001, but it’s still about 250,000 more copies than the new Backstreet Boys record is expected to move over the coming days.
