Only a week ago, the Jackson 5 were only mulling over a possible reunion tour for 2008. Now come reports that Jermaine has informed the BBC that the brothers Jackson, already suited up in their shiny Victory spaceman jackets, are “set to unite” with Michael “playing some role.” You can almost see the smoke pouring out of the Internet now.

He said: “Michael will be involved. We want to tour. We want to touch the lives of everybody who’s bought our records and supported us. It will probably start here first, but it will be sometime in 2008. That’s our plan…”

“We feel we have to give you back so much. So that’s why we feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public. There have been meetings and talks and we are still in those meetings putting everything back together as well as being back in the studio.”

Jackson went on to thank “all the fans and the supporters of my family all over Europe, all over the UK especially, who came out to show their love and their support” during “all the hurdles that we all were faced with during Michael’s trial.” We were worried that, if and when the Led Zeppelin reunion was officially confirmed or denied, we’d be hurting for more unending reunion tour speculation, so thank you, Jermaine, for coming through in a pinch.
