It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Help DTP In Our Worst Album Cover Of The Year Race

As voting is soon set to begin in our Worst Album Cover Of The Year contest, we’re trying to hold off on inundating you with all the last-minute finds and dregs we never managed to squeeze in over the last 11 months. Still, this forthcoming album from Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace crew definitely caught our exhausted eye, mostly for the overall WTF? of the main image. Nice, subtle touch giving the Parental Advisory its own reflection, though.

    lol what :(
the cover to Word of Mouf and Chicken N Beer are so awesome.
luda, or at least someone w/in DTP, should know better.

It’s not great, but it’s not that bad or WTF at all either, it’s a pretty literal representation of the album title. Plus I kinda like how the little stick people and the color scheme recall those old A Tribe Called Quest album covers.

Agreed. This looks like someone spent more than five minutes on it, and the Parental Advisory sticker is a nice touch. Badness is maybe 1/20th of the Nuge album.

Reminds me too much of that Mo Thugs cover [] cover with the Black Power Pyramid on it. That cover (as well as the music inside of it) was ghastly.

The reflection effect makes it look like it’s already in an iTunes cover-flow.
