After a year during which he was one of the more entertaining celebrity bloggers–who can forget his take on food blogging, or his broadside against the word “douchebag”?–John Mayer has apparently turned in his Movable Type license, signing off with the following epitaph: “There is danger in theoretical speculation of battle, in prejudice, in false reasoning, in pride, in braggadocio.
