Infamous black metal band Mayhem won a Spellemann Award (the “Norwegian Grammy”) this Saturday, and it’s always nice to see the mainstream nodding in the direction of a band whose founding guitarist once fibbed about eating the tasty bits of the singer’s brain after he had iced himself with a shotgun.
