“Miss Rap Supreme” Brings In A Ringer

The follow-up to last year’s ego trip’s (White) Rapper Show debuts on VH1 next month, and as previously reported, it’s going to focus on the ladies. ego trip’s Miss Rap Supreme will be hosted by MC Serch and Yo-Yo, and it’ll offer one of 10 ladies residing in a Los Angeles compound known as the “Fembassy” (seriously?) a lump sum of $100,000 and the title of Miss Rap Supreme. The contestants are pictured above, and if one of them looks vaguely familiar to you, well, you’re not mistaken:

It’s Khia! Yes, the woman who brought you “My Neck, My Back”–more recently notorious for serving as a Janet Jackson foil/not-very-gay-friendly advice columnist–is going to be on the show, and I’m wondering if her big-budget past won’t inspire some ire from her fellow Fembassy dwellers. If one of the challenges involves writing a freestyle for a sports team, you’ll know that the fix is in.

Khia is one of rap’s greatest…she managed to scrape the bottom of the barrel of the world of female rep (The Fembassy??) and came up with truly the worst song of all time.

The simple fact that I can recite any of Khia’s lyrics makes me wish I’d tried harder in school…

    Great strip club anthem

If she wins, could her new AKA be “Carly Smiff N’Wessun?”

  4. Chris Molanphy

Why doesn’t she team with Carly Smithson in a rock-rap duo called The Ringers?

YoYo? Seriously? Did MC Lyte have jury duty or something?

I’d watch just to see two white girls chase Khia off the set while telling her to “Step Off!” It’s my new reality TV fantasy.

That is THE most attractive group of women I have ever seen IN MY LIFE! Real talk.
