Kanye West Sits Down For A Very Creepy Dinner
Kanye West has released yet another video for “Flashing Lights,” and this time out the macabre clip is set in a house that brings to mind Mr. Boddy’s vacation home in the movie version of Clue. While this clip sadly lacks that film’s Howard Hesseman quotient, it does have a lot of ghosty imagery that suggests it’s set in Kanye’s own personal afterlife, perhaps picking up right after the shovel-shivving he received in installment one. (My favorite part is probably the bit when an impressive layer of dust is being white-glove-tested off the suit of one of the dinner party guests. I guess the mortgage on that place is so high, dry cleaning is out of the question?) There are a few shots of open road that make me think that this is supposed to be viewed in tandem with the first clip; if you’d like to figure out how the second “Lights” video that leaked over the holiday fits into all this, I’ve embedded it after the jump.
