ONE-LISTEN VERDICT: Wednesday saw the leak of an Oasis track that was most notable for sounding pretty un-Oasisy, and perhaps as a response to that, the band has put out a full version of “Shock Of The Lightning,” which goes back to the old-school Oasis sound of slightly updated Beatles-“inspired” rock, complete with a lyrical reference to a “magical mystery.” It’s not a lousy song by any stretch, but you can probably hazard a good guess of what it sounds like just from me mentioning that reference, right?
