I do not agree with this list of the “11 Best Joy Division Songs,” but hey, it does have audio for three of my favorites. (If you have anything other than “Transmission” at No. 1, then you mad.) Did I mention the one thing I wanted to do while in NYC for CMJ was see Control? Did I mention the one thing I forgot to do while in NYC for CMJ? [Good Bad Unknown]

    I cannot cosign this enough.

The Sound of Music really oughta be on there somewhere too (like at #2, after – agreed! – Transmission).

Ditto on Transmission. Shadowplay, She’s lost control and Dead Souls tie for a close 2nd place for me.

Control, but the way, was decent, but I’d rather have seen more of the how’s and the why’s of the music they created, rather than the entire thing being Ian Curtis caught in his love triangle. The actors were in-cre-dible in their portrayal of Joy Division live. It was eerily close to watching all the old Granada reports clips up on YouTube.

Can I get a shout for Day of the Lords? Maybe not #1, but #2 or so for me.
