Warren Buffett Inspires Many “Plucking While America Burns” Jokes

The ukulele is hotter than ever, and the Paley Center for the Media knows it, booking pianist and composer Peter Buffett for an expensive gig/meet and greet this Friday in Los Angeles merely to lure in Peter’s father, rich-guy ukulele enthusiast Warren Buffett, for a few jams. Unfortunately, tickets to the show are only available as part of a $2,000 series package. Maybe some clips will show up on YouTube over the weekend, or maybe some people will want to view their purchase of the package as an “investment” and put tickets to Friday’s show up on Craigslist for a profit. For now, we’ll have to make do with the slivers of Buffett’s uke career that are already floating around the Internet:
