The Fat Boys Are Back, And They’re Looking For A New Beatboxer To Get Disorderly With

Nov 25th, 2008 // 5 Comments

The Fat Boys, the rotund hip-hop trio who collaborated with Freddy Krueger, Chubby Checker, and the guy who played Luke on General Hospital before breaking up in 1991, have decided to get back together. This decision is being made in spite of the Boys being both a little older and little slimmer, not to mention one of their members–Buff Love, also known as the Human Beat Box–passing away in 1995. Ah, but if you thought the group would soldier on as a duo, you’d be mistaken; instead, the remaining members are going to find Buff’s replacement via the old reliable “televised competition that will probably result in humiliation of at least 33% of its contestants” route. Think you can hold your own? After the jump, “Human Beat Box,” in case you’re interested in trying out and you want to know what you’ll be up against.

Oh, and here’s what the two remaining members look like now:

There’s no weight requirement on the contest entry form, in case you were wondering.

What station would this be on?

  2. Audif Jackson Winters III

I have it on good authority that Chubby Checker would be willing to collaborate with them again.
