I’m Sorry, Headlights, I Should Have Remembered

Of all the albums from the first half of 2008, I probably listened to Headlights’ Some Racing, Some Stopping the most. For good reason; it’s a wonderful and beautiful album. Still, when it was time to fill out my contribution to the year-end project here, Headlights was nowhere to be seen; by June, I’d just moved on, I guess, and since my computer seems to only handle a dozen or so albums at a time, the space was cleared out for something else. I didn’t stop liking the album, but the endless stream of music didn’t stop flowing this year, and Headlights were swept away in the current. Anyhow, I feel like I should apologize to Headlights. Some Racing, Some Stopping is great. It’s still great, and I should have saved a place in my conscious mind for it. If you release your next album in the later half of whatever year that happens to be, that would help me out a lot. [Official site]
