Competent Drum Work Of Andy Hurley Enlivens Long-Running Television Show

Speaking of spending too much time on the Internet—or, at least, too much time writing about music on the Internet—it wasn’t until Fall Out Boy vocalist Patrick Stump mentioned halfway through this video that the band’s name is a Simpsons reference that I realized why it was funny that they were covering the theme to The Simpsons. They do a good job with it, too, working up a kind of grindcore/orchestral metal take on the classic Danny Elfman composition. You can hear the full version at the show’s site.
