The Lonely Island (And T-Pain) Take On The DJ Khaled School Of Rap

As a devoted fan of Hot Rod, it would seem like the forthcoming album by the Lonely Island, Incredibad, would be right up my alley. But after a recent move which involved me hauling a box full of novelty discs that surely seemed amusing at some point, the idea of purchasing a comedy album with actual money doesn’t sound like a great idea. Still, “I’m On A Boat” is entertaining, and lines like “I’ve got my swim trunks and my flippy-floppies / I’m flipping burgers, you’re at Kinko’s flipping copies” are right up my alley, especially with T-Pain’s electronic harmonizing. But will this comedy album actually hold up for more than a few weeks? For that matter, has any, other than Bruce McCulloch’s Shame Based Man? [YouTube / Official site]
