Miley Cyrus’ Trapper Keeper World

Miley Cyrus‘ new single “The Climb”—from the soundtrack for the Hannah Montana movie, which comes out in April—is a goopy ballad about life’s journey being more important than hitting heights in a quick matter, which of course is a believable sentiment from someone whose fame caused a Federal Reserve investigation before she could even drive her own car. The video is a CGI’d-to-death affair full of montages where Miley pensively watches computer-animated horses and stands in the rain and writhes in front of a movie screen; those are spliced between scenes from the film, in which young Hannah escapes her two worlds by taking “a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what matters in life the most.” Perhaps she will also get some sort of divine inspiration during the course of the movie? OK, probably not. Clip after the jump.

Also, am I the last person to know that she is apparently starring in a remake of Adventures In Babysitting? Because oh yeah that’ll be believable.
