, the UK music site that is probably one of the biggest influences on the site you are looking at now, turns 10 this March. Editor Tom Ewing looks back at the site’s first post, in which he announces his crusade against what he calls now “a pretty limited range of things: Uncut magazine, Mojo, the lack of good online music sites.” FT’s launch definitely did its part to remedy the last item in that list, and this post is a fine way to jump into its massive archives and watch the way the definition of “pop” has evolved since the “…Baby One More Time” era.
