Not that the record industry’s lobbying organization hasn’t made life easier for itself thanks to a lot of boneheaded moves that seemed to accelerate the business’ freefall, but I dunno, there’s something about cackling over job losses that seems a bit unseemly to me.     I don’t know… the back of my brain keeps saying that the employees should be telling management how unpopular their whole business structure is.

    When you are actively working against your consumer base, maybe things shouldn’t go to well for any employee contributing to that?

    I hate to see anyone lose their job, I agree with you there, but the RIAA has intentionally installed this target on backs. Far be it from us to not take shots at it. Especially since “they’re asking for it.”
