Brooklyn synth-punk crew Team Robespierre self-funded an album, self-funded a video, and self-funded their tours. As The Tripwire tells it, they then learned the hard way that there is an actual music industry outside of dewy basement shows and van PB&Js—and it doesn’t give two PBR farts about you.
