Continuing this year’s mini-trendlet of R & B stars of the ’90s turning into reality-TV stars of this decade, Soulbounce informs me that Kandi Burruss—formerly of the ’90s girl group Xscape alongside fellow reality-TV subject / T.I. paramour Tameka “Tiny” Cottle—is the newest cast member on Bravo’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Apparently she will get into fights! This all seems like a fine excuse to post her solo track “Don’t Think I’m Not,” which has been mentioned in this space before, but which is certainly worthy of being brought out for another go-round. It’s after the jump (above is the video for Xscape’s “Just Kickin’ It,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 in 1993):

Another note about Kandi: She has a writing credit on Destiny’s Child’s “Bug A Boo,” also known as the No. 4 song about the Internet. And “Bills, Bills, Bills,” too! This is all enough to make me add the show to my DVR, although I suspect the fast-forward button will be used liberally during rewatchings.
