Jason DeRulo Wants To Climb Back Into Your Good Graces

The video for Jason DeRulo’s Imogen Heap-sampling hit “Whatcha Say” has debuted; meanwhile, the song holds steady at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. (Although it does have a “bullet,” meaning that it’s gained in chart points—just not enough to overtake Britney Spears’ No. 1-debuting “3,” Jay Sean’s former chart-topper “Down,” and Miley Cyrus’ saccharine “Party In The U.S.A.” So it still has a chance to reach the top spot!) The video is a pretty standard “sorry I did you wrong” affair, with DeRulo doing some fancy footwork on a fire escape while pleading for a second chance, and with no sly references to Mischa Barton firing a gun. Oh well! Clip after the jump.
