Robin Thicke And Game Sing A Song For The Ladies

Robin Thicke and Game give it up for (surprise!) the ladies in the newly leaked track “Diamonds,” off the deluxe edition of Thicke’s forthcoming Sex Therapy. Over a butter-smooth music bed, the duo shout out female artists both fierce and fabulous, including Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, and Keyshia Cole. The name-drop marathon extends to Oprah and Michelle Obama, as well as Robin’s wife of four years, actress Paula Patton. Glad somebody is finally giving Paula props—she turned in an excellent performance as the endlessly supportive teacher, Ms. Rain, in Precious, but everyone forgets that she even appeared in the film, since Mariah Carey’s brown wig stole all her thunder.

Listen to “Diamonds” and feel thankful for all the wonderful gals in your life behind the jump:

Robin and his creamy falsetto will be ringing in the new year by performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with a bunch of other lovely ladies, including Fergie, Orianthi, Keri Hilson and Selena Gomez. Pretty much the only four women with current musical projects who didn’t make the cut to be mentioned in his song.
