Mariah Carey Is On A Speech-Making Roll
Mariah Carey is having a really good 2010 so far. Tuesday she picked up the Breakthrough Actress award at the Palm Springs international film fest, and Wednesday she won Favorite R&B Artist at the People’s Choice Awards. What award will Mimi win tomorrow? Our guess: Best Speech Maker Of All Time. All this, of course, makes it all the more disappointing that Mariah is unlikely to have a shot at taking the podium at the Oscars, given that her “100%” was nixed as the Precious theme in favor of Mary J. Blige’s “I Can See In Color.” Shame.
