Rise ‘n shine, Idolators! Slam back that coffee at your desk and let’s mix it up!

Did You Hear?

:: Mary J. Blige turns 39 today! Even nearing 40, she still looks younger than Lindsay Lohan (as does this tree).

:: Avril Lavigne is joining the likes of Pete Wentz and Mark Hoppus by contributing a song called “Alice Underground” to the Alice In Wonderland soundtrack. The Eclipse soundtrack now has some serious competition in the scramble for every tween’s hard-earned allowance. [Variety]

:: Katy Perry showed off her engagement ring over the weekend. We wish her fiance was as impressive. [Neon Limelight]

:: Amy Winehouse is reportedly planning to remarry her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, once he gets out of rehab. So, basically, never.  [Spinner]

:: Rihanna’s next single will be “Rude Boy,” and according to the single’s cover art, RiRi’s resolution in 2010 is to stop wearing clothes altogether. [We Are Pop Slags]

Behind the jump: the Ke$ha steamroller plows into late-night, and we take a wistful look back at our single favorite music clip from Conan.

VIDEO REWIND OF THE DAY: We don’t want to pick sides in this Leno vs. Conan drama that’s happening with NBC… so, on a completely unrelated note, here’s the White Stripes’ music video for “The Denial Twist,” featuring the redheaded late night host (who clearly is a big fan of Jack and Meg, since he booked them as the last musical guest on Late Night with Conan O’Brien). Has Jay Leno been in any awesome Michel Gondry directed music videos? Hmm? Yeah, didn’t think so.

Have a great day, everybody!
