Adam Lambert Gears Up For Oprah, Premieres ‘Whataya Want From Me’ Video

Yesterday, The Oprah Winfrey Show threw Adam Lambert’s fans a bit of a Twitter teaser by posting the above pic of O and Glambo on the set. GLAAD Media Award nominee Adam will appear on the Tuesday, January 19 episode of Oprah.

Meanwhile, Lambert’s “Whataya Want For Me” video finally premiered today. The toned-down clip finds him with flattened hair, wandering around his home in casual attire (for a change!) looking forlorn. Or is it his home? Fans are also clamoring to know: who’s in the photograph that Glambert keeps staring at? Find out the answers to both after the jump!

Here’s the “Whataya Want From Me” music video, directed by Diane Martel:

Now, just when you might be thinking Adam’s really letting his hair down by inviting us into his pad, the American Idol crooner let fans know that it’s all an illusion: “…the photo is just a random photo the art director pulled from a photo album on the rented location… the photo can be of whoever,” he tweeted.

Oh well, guess will have to hold out for Glambert’s episode of Cribs.

As for the Max Martin and Pink co-written “Whataya Want From Me,” that’s at least real, and it’s become something of a mantra for Lambert in the wake of all the media fire surrounding him since his performance at the American Music Awards in November.

In case you missed it, check out Adam in simpler times, in our pre-AMAs interview with him.

Adam did his job. He interpreted the lyrics of his song beautifully. We all feel sad for what he is going through with fame and lost love. Guess what, if we took his life away from him as it is now, he would really be ripping. What we saw was Adam's ability to emote and draw us all in to feel his emotion. He really is a good actor. Producers and directors, Hollywood, please note and don't let this guy get away. He is g-o-o-o-d.

I only watch videos of artists I like and I totally love Adam Lambert. He has entertained me for most of the entire year. I love the new video, What Do You Want From Me. Very simple and sweet too. It suited the lyrics. “Time For Miracles” would have been better song for Twilight- a love song that is so beautiful deserved a love story not scenes of diaster in background. This video suits the song and Adam is maginficent.

I love the video. The director matched the scenes with the lyrics-great. The other director- the one -Time For Miracles= took the beautiful love song and filled the video w destruction as Adam walked along. Yet the lyrics said he couldn't sleep, love etc. Don't care if it was for 2012 soundtrack-there were plenty of family scenes in that movie that would have suited a love song better. But the director for What Do You Want From Me did a fantastic job and Adam is his magnificent self throughout.
