We here in the States were passed over for getting Keri Hilson’s “I Like” as a single release. Instead it appears as if we’ll be getting the In A Perfect World… cut “Change Me,” since the video has now made its way online.

The song features a rather screechy (an uncharacteristically non-Auto-Tuned) Akon. And while it doesn’t really have the excitement of some of Keri’s other jams, “Change Me” does have a major plus on its side—good ol’-fashioned cowbell!

Watch the video for the Polow da Don-produced “Change Me” after the jump.

Curiously, “Change Me” was co-written by Matt Goss, formerly of the U.K. boy band Bros. (Listen to his version of the tune here.) If you’re not familiar with them, here’s a sample of all the high-tenor cheesiness you missed out on in the late ’80s:

Ah, Bros—so much hair gel, such a short shelf life.
