Mariah Carey Is All Wet In “Angels Cry”
When it rains, it pours Mariah Carey videos. It’s a double Mimi extravaganza today, as we get not only the clip for “Up Out My Face” featuring Nicki Minaj, but also the one below for Carey’s duet with Ne-Yo, “Angels Cry.”
And, apparently, angles only cry when Mariah is arching her back in alley while wearing a white tank top. Or at least that’s how director Nick Cannon (aka Mr. Mimi) spins it.
But not only does Mariah get wet from the rain, in a classy product placement moment, she douses herself and one of her pals in the video with her own M perfume. (Plus, is that a bottle of her soon-to-be-released wine at 2:36 in?)
Ne-Yo maintains his usual suave composure while tinkling away on the piano and offering up one of his trademark spins.
Eh, this video’s giving us the chills. We’re going back to watch “Up Out My Face” again.
